Napa Valley Wine Train: Gourmet Express Lunch or Dinner

About This Experience
A different way to taste Napa Valley — a multi-course meal served aboard beautifully restored early-1900s rail cars as the train rolls through the valley's vineyards.
Onboard chefs prepare a seasonal, multi-course meal in one of three kitchens on the train; the Gourmet Express runs at midday, while the same route is also offered as a dinner service for a more romantic evening ride. A welcome glass of sparkling wine, coffee and tea are included.
Dress code is smart casual, and the operator asks that dietary requirements and any mobility needs be flagged at the time of booking, since the antique cars have limited wheelchair access.

We liked the interior design of the train & the salmon. The dessert was the least liked thing.

I enjoyed a trip through Napa Valley aboard the Wine Train with my service dog in training! The company and staff were very accommodating. I soaked in the picturesque wineries, sipped excellent wines, and savored a gourmet three-course meal while onboard this old-school romantic train experience! It's a must do once in a lifetime experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the lunch and dinner departures?
Both follow the same scenic Napa Valley rail route and multi-course format — lunch runs earlier in the day, dinner is the more romantic evening sitting.
Are drinks included?
A welcome glass of sparkling wine plus coffee and tea are included; other alcoholic drinks can be purchased onboard.
Is this tour accessible for guests with mobility impairments?
The operator flags it as not well suited to guests with mobility impairments, given the antique rail cars — contact them ahead of booking if this affects you.
What should I wear?
Smart casual — this is a sit-down dining experience, not a casual outdoor tasting.
