San Francisco: Muir Woods, Napa & Sonoma Full-Day Wine Tour

About This Experience
The most-booked way to see Wine Country from San Francisco — a 10-hour day that pairs Muir Woods' redwood groves with three wine tastings across Napa and Sonoma, with pickup and drop-off at one of 11 San Francisco hotels.
The morning starts at Muir Woods National Monument, where you get about an hour to walk beneath old-growth coastal redwoods before the crowds build. From there the route continues to a family-owned Sonoma winery, a lunch break with free time in historic Sonoma Plaza, and two more wineries in Napa and Sonoma Valleys — three tastings in total, plus a Golden Gate Bridge photo stop on the way back.
An air-conditioned coach with onboard WiFi and a professional English-speaking guide runs the whole day; audio guides in eight languages are available on request.

The San Francisco: Muir Woods, Napa & Sonoma Wine Tour was an incredible day trip excursion to supplement our week in San Francisco. The day started with a warm welcome from our tour guide & bus driver, Randall. He was so kind and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make the trip a full guided experience. Muir Woods was absolutely breathtaking. If you love hiking you might want to spend more time there, but we found that 1 hour was enough time to walk the main loop and get a taste of the redwoods. We then went to 3 different wineries (with a stop for lunch at Sonoma plaza after the first, where there were plenty of options for lunch). We not only got to taste the wines, but we also got tours of the facilities and learned about the wine making process. The bus was comfortable and had WiFi. Our trip ended with a 10 minutes stop at the Golden Gate Bridge vista point, which was the perfect cherry on top of a great day.
